davidjhunterProwler Friends,
I found this site last July when I was thinking of buying a prowler to keep my 23T company. August 21st, purchased a prowler via EBay and can't decribe the pride and enjoyment I have had since. I have read the post's on this site almost daily and thank all of you for bringing my understanding and knowledge of my new car to life. I have tried several times to post and add a scrapebook, and failed. If this works I will have made it to the posting and will concentrate on loading pictures. I have many questions to ask and will from today forward. I would like to know how you get the oil filter off without taken parts of the Paxton supercharger. Its a tight fit and I have been reluctant to tug and grunt to hard. Any Insight?

Dave

idiveDave - welcome! Glad to have you aboard. There is another newbie to the forums that tried to answer your question earlier but had a bit of trouble posting. I talked to him tonight and he should be telling you what he does with his tomorrow when he gets back to his computer at work. He has a paxton as well and can set ya up. Oh, and be sure to ask about his nipples. (Sorry, guy, *not you Dave* I couldn't resist... and sorry to hear about it.)

Congrats on Kat and welcome to POA..

On filter with Paxton. Mine I have extra slack in the rubber hose so it goes around side of oil filter. You may have to loosen clamp on lower discharge tube to back filter out... Now, my tech over at local Chrysler dealership suggested using a neon oil filter which is shorter than Prowler one (Neon - Mopar p/n 04105409 - I haven't tried the neon filter)... It hasn't been a problem with the rubber hose on the side of filter.

A sincere and hearty WELCOME to POA. We're glad you're here!
So strap in and get ready for the ride of your life.

DR PROWLERHave fun in the Prowler and try to make some of the events-lots of fun!
idiveRADCAT RICH - Welcome to the board also! I see you got your posting down ok. I started to call ya this morning and see if you needed any more help. We still need to all hook up and watch the autocross video. I'm planning on going to Alvin on the 20th (or 21st). Got a friend coming back from the middle east for a week. Maybe we can get some Prowlers to meet and invade the Sonic there.
